A Network Operator will monitor and troubleshoot communication and application-related issues through the use of network management and diagnostic tools. The operator must do timely checks on wireless network infrastructure equipment and provide necessary assistance for its maintenance. The professional will be involved in activities such as the maintenance and implementation of new network services. They will assist in a production operations environment that includes multiple servers and networking equipment.

The operator is responsible for testing and implementation of new network and wireless service. The professional plays an active role in keeping track of the performance criteria and measurement methods. It is their responsibility to develop alternative routing scenarios in the sequence of network activities. They should look into the planning and management of large networks and other telecommunication service of a large complex project.
