Abstract
Abstracts. Pawon hill and its so/rounding prehistoric cave is an important re-main! for archeological research. Based on the research at 2009 at Pawon Hill and its sormunding were found the human bones and many kind of artefactual as a remain! of the prehistoric culture. The concervation in this area must be done because the limestone mining by local people and industry at the end will be grinding the cultural area. This article tried elaborates about the potential and various problems of Pawon Cave and its surrounding, as one of area having prospect for expansion as a cultural and tourism of west Java Province.Kata Kunci: Gunung Pawon, Masigit, Tanjung, pelestarian, prospek
