PERAN ELITE PRIBUMI DALAM EKSPLOITASI KAPITALISME KOLONIAL: KOMPARASI ANTARA PRASASTI DAN ARSIP Indigenous Elite In Colonial Exploitation Of Capitalism: Comparison Between Inscription And Archives

Abstract
AbstractThis paper describes the role of indigenous elite in colonial capitalism exploitation in 19th-20th century, in the plantation companies of Pamaneokan en Tjiasemlanden (P & T Lands) in Subang, West Java. By conducting a comparative analysis of the inscription of Colonial and Dutch Archives (The Inscription Hofland/1861 and the Inscription De Onderneming Soekamandi/1925; Archives Netherlands, “personeel in de Binnenlanden, Afdeeling Indramaijoe, Landraad/Almanac van Nederlandsch-Indie voor het jaar 1816 to 1942” and “Memory Resident Karawang/Povelier, October 1929/Memorie Van Overgrave”), the role of elites can be revealed, i.e. as an intermediary for the delivery of all forms of instruction relating to the exploitation of the colonies to the indigenous people. Key words: Indigenous Elite, Exploitation of Capitalism, Inscription, Archives AbstrakTulisan ini menguraikan tentang peran elite pribumi dalam eksploitasi kapitalisme kolonial pada abad ke-19–20, dalam perusahaan perkebunan Pamanoekan en Tjiasemlanden (P & T Lands) di Subang Jawa Barat. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan analisis komparatif terhadap Prasasti Kolonial dan Arsip Belanda. Berdasarkan Prasasti Hofland dan Prasasti De Onderneming Soekamandi; serta Arsip Belanda, Personeel in de Binnenlanden, Afdeeling Indramaijoe, Landraad/Almanak van Nederlandsch-Indie voor het jaar 1816-1942 dan Memori Residen Karawang/Povelier, October 1929/Memorie Van Overgrave, peran elite pribumi dapat terungkap, yaitu sebagai perantara penyampaian segala bentuk instruksi yang berkaitan dengan eksploitasi tanah jajahan kepada rakyat pribumi.
